Day 26...

I know my 30th isn't for another month but I really wanted to take this AWESOME watch with me on our honeymoon next week.

Liza and I had date night tonight at work. Chicken caesar salads and tips, my fave!

Day 25...

I went to my girlfriend Cindy's house for the best lasgna I have ever had tonight! I took my puggle with me to play with her puggle Stella. Stella is 3 times the size of Elci!

Day 24...

Surprise, surprise...we went out for dinner again tonight. This time I spent the day running errands and Mike was out with the boys so we met up for some Bub's wings and steakums. He was getting so annoyed with me for taking his picture (42 times)

Day 23...

I worked the most boring shift today but my honey took me to Karl Strauss for dinner so I wouldn't be so grumpy:) Their food is delicious!

Day 22...

Boo! I can't believe its over. I'm still totally confused though so maybe I will watch it again from the beginning. I'm going to miss all of my "friends"

Day 21...

Mike and I were able to meet for dinner in between jobs tonight. We went to Bar Ninety for an ahi salad, steak skewers and a yummy sushi roll. I totally could have gone to bed after that. Thats ok though, we like working 15 hour days:(

At least we got to spend some time together though. I missed him today.

Day 20...

I was able to spend the whole day with my mom today. She is supposed to be resting for the next 7 weeks and is already bored so I am going to be keeping her company for a while.

At work we throw all of the quarters from people's change into a cup and at the end of the night we "flip for quarters." Everyone takes a quarter and flips it, then its odd man out. If there are more heads than tails, heads stays in and flips again, or vise versa. You do this until there are two people left, then one calls and the other flips to see who wins the pot. I won tonight!! It was a big win too. The cup is usually half this size. Yay!

Day 19...

My mom got to come home from the hospital today!

One of the owners at my work loves candy and I have a really bad habit of searching for it in his office and eating it. (I replace it) Tonight I thought I would leave him a note so he wouldn't be upset. I can't help it! If I know its there I have to have it.

Day 18...

This is what happened to my garage during the year we planned the wedding. Today is the day I will try to make a dent in this chaos.



I was able to get a lot done in the garage but still have a ways to go. You would think by this picture that Mike and Elci had done all the work

Day 17...

Surgery went well and my mom is mostly pain free for now. Hopefully she will be able to go home on Thursday. She would have killed me if I had taken a picture of her without her hair and make-up done. Can you believe she actually packed her hair curlers? She is so funny!

Day 16...

My mom went into surgery at 1pm today to remove a cancerous tumor and the lower lobe of her left lung. I didn't feel like taking a picture. Sorry I didn't say anything sooner but I have been pretty upset and I didn't find out about the whole thing myself until last week because she didn't want to ruin my wedding. She is the best mom ever and I know she is going to be alright.

Day 15...

I went to my parents house today...

My mom and I found a gopher in the pool...

So she scooped it out with the scrub brush and threw it over the fence. Gross! I had a really good time hanging out though:)

Day 14...

Saturday...my long work day. I got the night off though and went out for my really good friend Heather's B-Day. We had a pretty good size group and a really good time!

Day 13...

We don't leave for our honeymoon until the end of the month so we have been gradually making plans. We are going on a baseball roadtrip to all of the east coast stadiums. Today we booked our NY Yankees tickets!

Day 12...

Elci, our almost 5 year old puggle went to the groomer today. She was starting to smell like a combo of Fritos and wet fur. (I kind of like the Frito feet smell) It took me forever to figure out what her paws smelled like. You should check your dogs paws.

Day 11...

I picked up a shift at Tavern in PB so Mike met me for dinner at Fred's afterwards. I love that place!

Day 10...

We went to The Fleetwood where Mike works for a couple Dirty Garcia's and comedy night. Mike heckled the headliner who was talking crap about the bar and he flipped us all off, told us to die, and walked off stage. Yikes! He was in a bad mood. We had a good laugh though:)

Day 9...

What happened to "no puggles in the bed"?

Day 8...

As if it isn't annoying enough we don't get to see each other on Saturdays, Mike works first thing in the morning on Sundays too. Blah!

Day 7...

We both work doubles on Saturday so we usually don't get a chance to see each other between jobs. Tonight Mike came to see me after I had already started and he had 30 minutes to spare. So sweet...

Day 6...

We discovered a new place in our neighborhood! One of the most delicious burgers I have ever had. SmashBurger! Go there! Yummmmm! I should mention that we actually found this place yesterday. It was so good we had to go again for lunch today:)

Day 5...

So, I got cut from work early tonight and text Mike to let him know I was on my way home and he repied with a picture of Coach from the show Survivor and himself. I told him to make Coach stay put and raced down so I too could have my picture taken. How awesome! This guy is exactly how you would expect!

I should probably fill you in...

So, a little background since I forgot to take a picture today. Mike and I met about 3 1/2 years ago while bartending at a popular downtown San Diego bar called Sidebar. When it closed to remodel, we each got different jobs, me at a sports bar in North Park and him at a place in PB and another downtown.

Day 3...

We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel last night after the Pads game for a pre honeymoom vacation. We got to lay by the pool and enjoy the beautiful SD weather:)

Day 2...

We went to a Padre game tonight with Mike's fam from Ireland. Not that exciting to them, but baseball feels like home to me.

Day 1...
